A big shout-out goes to Decatur CoWorks for generously offering its space for the Dems Day Challenge. All attendees will receive a day pass to try this coworking facility out for FREE.

Decatur CoWorks is located at 708 Church Street, Decatur GA 30030. This is just North of Commerce Drive. If you’re looking for landmarks, it’s across from CrossFit Decatur, between the Miss Nails Salon/Las Brasas strip center and Property Works.

There are many parking options within walking distance of Decatur CoWorks.  Below are a few tips to help make parking easier…

  • The Property Works lot is free and on a first-come basis. If the lot is full, you can park along Williams Street, which is an unmetered sideroad that’s accessible from the Decatur CoWorks parking lot and from Clairemont Avenue (it does not cut through to Church Street).
  • Another parking option is the overflow McDonald’s parking lot shared with Las Brasas. While we do not have an official agreement to use this space, event attendees have never had a problem. However, parking there is at your own risk.
  • If you’re taking Marta, the Decatur Transit Station is approximately a 7-minute walk. Simply exit the station, take a left on Church Street and walk .3 miles. Decatur CoWorks is on the left about a half block past Commerce Drive.
  • The lease expensive public parking lot is AAA Parking ($3 per day) on the corner of Church Street and Commerce Drive.

Check out the City of Decatur parking map for additional details.
